Huw Stephens, BBC Radio 1. Krafla was Steve Hough (Einstellung / Cable Regime / Godflesh / Grover) and Simon Fox. extending the experimental tendencies of Grover, Krafla developed into a long-term project, mixing live instruments and electronica. A debut 7" single, Like Machines, on Static Caravan records was followed by an e.p. release on Bearos records. Krafla added layers of depth and instrumentation to fragile song structures and delicate melodies.

A "Krafla-esque" remix of Victoria and Jacob's single Theia Mania was released in 2013. Krafla is still available for remix work. The complete works of Krafla are available to stream and download on Bandcamp. Help yourself.
